Does love at first sight exist? This is one question that many Nigerians will contest for hours on end. Well, Mmapaseka Moiloanyane has proven that it does. At the first sight of Kabelo, her husband, she knew she had met the one.
Because she had never been so sure of anything in her life, she dumped the boyfriend she was dating at the time with the one explanation that she had met the man of her dreams.
The 27-year-old Sowetan said she first set her eyes on Kabelo at a house party which she attended with one of her friends. That was ten years ago. Upon taking in the sight of him, the beautiful lady said she fell in love with him and hoped with all her mind that it was reciprocated.
After the party, Moiloanyane took the bold step of doing away with her boyfriend in spite of the fact that Kabelo had not made any move to ask her out. According to her, she had a gut feeling he was coming through.
It was no surprise to Moiloanyane when her gut feeling was correct and Kabelo initiated a relationship with her on June 18, 2008. A proposal followed in earnest a couple of days before her birthday.
However, the lady to whom Kabelo has been married to for ten years now had to admit that their proposal was not really romantic. Her words says this much,
"He took me in store and asked me to pick a ring. It was very random, he's not much of a romantic."

Romantic or not, the handsome man did a good job of staying true to his words as he and his family asked his in-laws' permission for Moiloanyane's hand in marriage. Five months after this, the couple tied the knot, merging their traditional ceremony and their official wedding into one event to save some money.
The two-day ceremony was held in Tarlton and Krugersdorp. With them combining the white wedding and traditional elements, they got the best of both worlds on their special day.
The couples have been married for ten years now, and they are currently in the festive mood of their wedding anniversary.
