- PDP welcomes Buhari’s declaration to jail looters
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has backed President Muhammdu Buhari’s resolve to work harder to ensure that all who looted the nation’s treasury are jailed.
The group in a tweet on Sunday, August 19, however, stated that if the action was done to all looters robustly, appropriately and fair, then millions of Nigerians would back the president’s move against the looters.
SERAP noted that President Buhari could set a perfect example for future generation of leaders and become an anti-corruption legend by robustly prosecuting looters in the country.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s renewed declaration to jail treasury looters as a welcomed development.
