Everyone loves a beautiful love story and Llewellyn Jeneker and Cecilia Absolom have many hearts melted on social media over their unique nuptial.
According to reports, Llewellyn and Cecilia are homeless lovers who have been together on the street for over 30 years. After the groom approached some officials from retreat, they helped in holding a fairytale wedding conducted by Pastor Manuel Benans, under a city freeway bridge on the Foreshore on Monday, August 20.
The special nuptial was attended by over 100 guest (mostly homeless) who were treated to Lekker music and a feast of refreshments. They all joined in celebrating with Cecilia who dazzled in her wedding dress and her man, Jeneker, who totally adored his bride.
There was much love and laughter at the wedding and while the groom couldn't take his eyes of his bride, he revealed that he seemed like a new person being wedded to the love of his life. He said: "What happened today is that I feel almost like a new person, because I have this long-time girlfriend with whom I had walked all these years, and today I legally wed her.”
The couple had two children together but lost the eldest one. Their 12-year son, Dylan Absolom, was present to celebrate with them as they made their relationship official.
The bride, Cecelia, revealed she was raised on the streets by her mom, who had spent a large part of her adult life as a homeless person.
The couple are now working towards building a new life for themselves and their son.
