Chelsea star N'Golo Kante showed he is a nice person to have around after opting to console an unhappy Arsenal fan after the Blues win against the Gunners.
According to a UK Sun report the 27-year-old Frenchman apologised to the fan after the match at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea toppled their London rivals 3-2 in an entertaining Premier League contest.
New Arsenal coach Unai Emery was unfortunate his team did not pick at least a point after blowing away numerous scoring opportunities especially in the first stanza.
Goals from Spanish pair Pedro and Alvaro Morata ensured Chelsea were leading 2-0 before strikes from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi brought the Gunners at par before the interval.
However Arsenal could make their dominance count in the second stanza, and submitted to a late winner from Marcos Alonso - who netted his third career goal against the Emirates side.
The defeat was too painful to take as Arsenal fans were even close to tears, but one fan has revealed how Kante said sorry for the result, before the pair posed for the camera together.
Alongside a picture of the two, he said: "Just met this man. Told him I was an Arsenal fan and I was upset about the game this weekend but he smiled at me and said 'sorry'. What a guy."
Interestingly, the Frenchman thrived once again in his advanced role in the Chelsea starting XI under Italian boss Maurizio Sarri after his goal against Huddersfield the previous weekend.
The World Cup winner created four important chances during the match - over four times his average figure of 0.95 for the previous two seasons.
In addition Kante also completed 16 passes in the final third, and a team-high of five touches in the opposition's danger zone.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Super Eagles Alex Iwobi agrees that Arsenal were a bit shaky and clueless at the early stage of their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
