- Eden Hazard remains Chelsea's highest paid player this season
- The Belgian pockets a staggering £200 000 per week at Stamford Bridge
- New-signing Kepa Arrizabalaga is second-best paid player, with Cesc Fabregas closing in at third
Chelsea star winger Eden Hazard has retained his top spot as the club's highest-paid player into the new season.
This follows the forward's botched move to La Liga giants, Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
According to sources, the 27-year old pockets a whopping £200,000 per week, while new signing Kepa Arrizabalaga is the second-best earner at Stamford Bridge on a weekly wage of £192 000.
Arrizabalaga signed for the London club from Spanish side, Athletic Bilbao, in the summer for a reported fee of £71.6m, making him the world's most expensive goal-keeper.
The Spaniard replaced Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtouis who completed a stunning move to Real Madrid earlier in the month.
Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is the third highest paid player, and is believed to be on a £156 000 a week.
Fabregas closely followed by former Napoli star Jorginho who pockets £150 000 (KSh19.4 million) a week.
Jorginho also joined the Blues this summer and has since made a good impression since arriving at the Stamford Bridge.
Star striker, Alvaro Morata, is fifth on £140 000 (KSh18.1million), while experienced defender Gary Cahill is on a weekly salary of £130 000.
28-year old right-back, Cesar Azpilicueta, earns £120 000 weekly at Chelsea, while Frenchman N'Golo Kante, Willian and Olivier Giroud are all said to pocket same wages.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League side Chelsea sealed a world-record deal of £72million for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
According to the report, the 23-year-old Spaniard penned a seven-year deal at the Blues and has replaced Belgium goalie Thibaut Courtois who has moved to Spanish side Real Madrid.
