A young buy identified as Shafiq Ahmed has become talk of town after he was hailed for memorising the entire Holy Quran in Borno state.
Mohammed Chiroma shared the news on Facebook, praising the boy's father Ahmed Shehu, a staff of the College of Agriculture Maiduguri.
"Congratulations shekh Shafiq Ahmed for memorising the the holy Qur'an. It is a wish of every parent of Islamic faith, to see his son like this. May Allah reward you Ahmed Shehu, for the efforts that you made in giving him such a wonderful knowledge''

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy from the west African region Ghana recently created a solar system that enables him power his phones at night.
The young boy is said to have made the same device for some of his relatives in his remote village in Ghana to help them with their daily lives.
