Birthdays are special time to commemorate people and demonstrate unreserved love for them. Well acclaimed comedian Ushbebe did just this for his father Elder Advance E. Nuagbe who just marked his 70th birthday.
In memorializing this milestone, Ushbebe who also is a thriving On Air Personality (OAP) threw an elaborate birthday ceremony for his dad. The party which saw the retired Nigerian Air Force officer beaming with smiles was organized in collaboration with his other siblings who were all out to grant their father a well-deserved honour.
The event took place in the heart of Delta at The Best Western Hotel and as expected, it was well attended by renowned celebrities and people who came from all over the world to celebrate the comedian’s father.
Some of these celebrities who also performed at the occasion included Ayo Makun, I Go Laugh, Mc shakara, Apostle Paul, Kelvin Sapp ,Young chief, Kokopee, G29 band who are all Ushbebe’s colleagues in the entertainment industry.
The performances rendered by these people of high repute lit up the already bright hall and had many laughing uncontrollably. This by every measure made the event quite an outstanding one.
This is not to talk of the impressive attires worn by the celebrant and his sons which stood out admirably. According to Ushbebe, the clean-cut agbadas were designed by the same Warri fashion designer who made the wears Super Eagles wore upon their arrival for the world cup in Russia.

NAIJ.com earlier had an exclusive interview with Ushbebe whose birth name is Justice Emonaerere Nuagbe. During the course of the conversation he appraised his father and said his career in stand-up comedy had started because of him.
According to him, his father was a very funny man who was nicknamed Baba Congo in the air force base where they lived. The fact that his father was very popular for his funny antics which made his home more like a Fuji House of Commotion rubbed off on him and this made him kickstart what has turned out to be a successful career:
"It started when I was in my father’s house, my Father is a very funny man. I grew up in Air force base so if you know anyone that grew up there, you can quote me and say do you know Baba Congo? Because that is what they call my father, he is a comedian and that is the house I grew up experiencing funny things. My house is like Fuji house of commotion."

For the stand-up act and OAP who dumped his banking job to start a career in comedy at the turn of 2008, he would rather refer to himself as a “dramarian” as he thinks himself to be a fine actor who would do well in the movie industry having studied Theatre Arts in Delta State University. According to him, he would delve into acting when the money paid to actors increase.
