More Nigerians can now join the All Progressives Congress (APC) has the National Working Committee of the party has ordered the immediate recommencement of the Continuous Nationwide Membership Registration in all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory.
The decision, according to the party was taken in response to calls from members of the public interested in joining the APC to support the change agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, Punch reports.
Yekini Nabena, acting national publicity secretary of the party disclosed this in Abuja, on Wednesday, August 22.
“The exercise will include both fresh registrations and revalidation of existing membership for the purposes of issuance of the Party’s permanent memberships cards.
“We hereby urge our teeming supporters and members to take advantage of the exercise,” the statement read in part.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that former president Olusegun Obasanjo urged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to avoid the same political mistakes that have affected the smooth running of major political parties in Nigeria.
The former president said all the major parties in Nigeria have image, discipline commitment and leadership deficit.

NAIJ.com gathered that Obasanjo who gave the charge when he received the National Working Committee of the ADC, led by the chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu, in Abeokuta, Ogun state, said in such a short period, the party had become a force to reckon with in Nigeria’s politics.
