As President Muhammadu Buhari celebrates Sallah in his hometown, Daura, in Katsina state, some governors and top politicians have visited to get a feel of the Eid-El-Kabir.
Among the politicians were the governors of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun, his Plateau counterpart, Simon Lalong and a former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor-Kalu.
Channels Television reports that the governors including other dignitaries arrived Daura on Wednesday, August 22, evening to spend the Sallah holiday with first family.
Other dignitaries who also visited the president include the minister of water resources, Suleiman Adamu Kazaure, and Senator Uche Ekwunife.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that President Buhari left Abuja for Daura on Monday, August 20.
The president celebrated in ongoing Eid-El-Kabir in his hometown in Daura area of Katsina state.
It was also gathered that the president was at the Daura Eid ground on Tuesday, August 21, to observe this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
Thousands also joined the president at the Eid ground for prayers. A large crowd gathered around him as they sang his praises.
The president was said to have trekked for over 800 metres from the prayer ground to his private residence amidst chanting of `Sai Baba’ by well- wishers.
