President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, August 25, returned to Abuja after celebrating Eid-el Kabir in his hometown, Daura, Katsina state.
Buhari had left Abuja on Monday, August 20 ahead of the public holidays declared by the federal overnment for the Sallah.
The president's aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this via his Twitter page on Saturday, August 25.
Before he left the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport, Katsina, for Abuja, the president addressed troops deployed to battle criminals in Zamfara state.
NAIJ.com previously reported that President Buhari, on Friday, August 24, received different groups including former classmates, Kano Traders Association, and chairmen of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Katsina state in Daura.

Others that visited the president are members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Katsina chapter, representatives of 5 local government areas in Daura Emirate and chairman of Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN), Chief Felix Idiga.
