Nigerians have heard Simi sing and seen her perform live on stage. It is no doubt that she is a spectacular musician but it seems like she has another talent that Nigerians don't know about.
Simisola Ogunleye, popularly addressed as Simi, is a talented singer who has released many hit singles such as Jamb Question and Smile. Now, she had decided to move into the realm of movies.
The singer recently announced that she has accepted a role in Kunle Afolayan's upcoming movie Mokalik. Simi who was excited by the news, took to Instagram to share a video of herself with the talented movie maker.
Kunle Afolayan who was also excited about the news, revealed that the contract was signed and sealed on Sunday, August 26.
On his Instagram post, he revealed that Simi said yes after going through the script for week. The singer had also expressed in her post that the script is one she is happy to partake in.

NAIJ.com gathered that the script is about an 11-year-old who spends the day as a lowly apprentice at a mechanic workshop in order to view life from the other side of the tracks.
This is not the first time singers would try their hands at acting, Omawunmi featured in the movie House of Gold and Shey Shay recently acted in the movie Lara And The Beat.
