- Bordeaux offer Antonio Conte managerial job after Poyet's exit
- The French Ligue 1 club are also considering Claudio Ranieri
- Conte was relieved of his duties as Chelsea's boss last month
Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is a candidate for the Bordeaux job after Arsenal legend Thierry Henry rejected the club's offer.
Since the Ligue 1 outfit axed Gus Poyet at the start of the season, Henry has been in talks for the vacant position, but French sources say he has rejected the offer over the weekend.
According to French media outlet Sud-Ouest, Bordeaux are now seeking alternatives and the ex-Chelsea boss Conte is now under consideration.
Another former Blues manager, Claudio Ranieri, is also being sounded out and talks have already commenced with the minders of both managers.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea terminated Conte's contract just two years after taking the job at the west London club.
The Italian tactician became the Blues manager in the summer of 2016 and won the English topflight title for them in his debut season.
