It is no longer news that Nigerians are being assaulted in South Africa, some are lucky not to be affected in the xenophobia war while some have ended up six feet below the ground. However, this has not stopped Nigerians from trooping into South Africa.
A Nigerian businessman based in South Africa has just been reported dead. The deceased was reportedly gunned down following an ongoing gang war. He was shot dead on Sunday, August 26, along Esselen Street, Sunnyside in Pretoria, South Africa.
According to reports, the deceased was said to have been rushed to the hospital after South African police officers stormed the area but did not survive the attack.
A Facebook user identified as Tumishang Klucia Phumolo disclosed that it is funny how some Nigerians are praying for God’s protection despite being involved in shady businesses.
His post reads: “It is funny how all Nigerians commenting here want God to protect cultist who use human blood rituals to protect themselves in this evil illicit business, really God? Protect the devil’s agents? All this dead idiots belongs in the kingdom of darkness, the least people should say is to condemn and discourage their country men from getting in this kind of acts, they must all repent and stop this sinful lifestyles otherwise they’ll continue sl*ughtering each other like this.”

However, this came a day after a another Nigerian man Williams was killed by unknown gunmen on Saturday, August 25, in South Africa. This is as a result of the ongoing war between Nigerians in the country.
It is reported that several Nigerians have lost their lives in South Africa following similar wars caused by drug dealings, cultism and internet fraud.
