Actress Uduak Akrah reportedly dies after slipping in the bathroom

It seems to be a bad time for the Nigerian movie industry. In the past few months, Nollywood have had the cause to mourn one talented actor or another. This is really sad.

Another promising young actress Uduak Akrah has been reported dead. According to some of her colleagues, they disclosed that Uduak died on Saturday, August 25, at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba area of Lagos.

Her colleagues disclosed that the talented actress died after a fatal fall in her bathroom. It was added that the deceased sustained injuries from the fall.

Popular filmmaker Charles Novia disclosed that: “I just heard from someone close to her and her family in Abuja. She suffered complications in the past few months from a nasty fall in the bathroom.

It was further disclosed that the Abuja-based actress have been ill for a while due to the fatal fall in her bathroom and when she was eventually brought to LUTH, Akrah was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to some of her colleagues, late Akrah was described as a multi-talented entertainer both on stage and on the screen. She was a creative art graduate from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). She was also a singer and an event planner.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that the Nigerian movie industry recently mourned the death of veteran actor Chike Osuji. The Imo-based actor succumbed to the cold hands of death in Owerri, the Imo state capital. He was aged 65.
