Premier League champions Manchester City are plotting a January bid for Paris Saint-Germain ace Adrien Rabiot 10 years after he left the club.
According to a UK Sun report, the 23-year-old French midfielder who had a stint at City's youth teams in 2008 before heading back to France, has snubbed extending his stay at the Parc des Princes.
The report further noted that Rabiot, who is valued at around £45million, has claimed 17 trophies with the French champions PSG, includes four Ligue 1 titles, and four French Cups. He is expected to be out of contract next summer.
Spanish giants Barcelona are keen to land the France international who previously was linked with Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, reports coming out of France and Spain suggest the Citizens have opened talks with Rabiot’s representatives.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and their Spanish counterpart Barcelona are locked in a deadly misunderstanding which has threatened the relative peace exiting between the two top clubs.

The report claims that the Nou Camp chiefs, established contact with PSG to declare their interest in the player earlier this summer, with Barca’s technical secretary Eric Abidal and Pep Segura visiting Paris.
