Turkish League giants Besiktas eyeing a deadline transfer move for Liverpool's Divock Origi

Turkish Super League outfit Besiktas are reportedly eyeing a transfer deadline day move for Liverpool attacker Divock Origi.

The Belgium international spent last term on loan at French League side VfL Wolfsburg and scored six goals from 31 appearances for the club.

He was excluded from the Red Devils team that won bronze medal after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia owing to his disappointing outing at the Bundesliga side last season.

Though he as a future star following his superb performance at the 2014 edition of the FIFA competition in Brazil - a display that earned him a move to Liverpool the same year.

The 23-year-old's chances of breaking into Jurgen Klopp's squad this season will be tough after the arrival of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City this summer.

Besiktas might be forced to sign the forward on a season long loan owing to their current financial problems.

According to Liverpool Echo, Origi will only leave if a club meets the Reds £27 million asking price, with Liverpool keen to make a return on the striker.

Besiktas have already signed one Liverpool player this window, completing the signing of Lloris Karius on a two year loan deal on Saturday.

NAIJ.com previously reported that Liverpool were willing to include Divock Origi in their £74 million bid for Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.

The Anfield side have even offered to lend them Divock Origi on loan to sweeten the deal for the 21-year-old France star.

Arsenal were chasing the attacker all summer but have given up landing the star as he price continues to rise.
