- Fans worldwide were quick to rea with some hilarious comments
Sergio Ramos and Mohamed Salah came face to face for the first time after Champions League clash in Kiev.
Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 to win their third straight UCL title to take their tally to 13 as they become the most successful team in European club competition.
However, football fans were treated to some mild drama at the gala as Salah and Ramos had a brief interaction, albeit without uttering a word to each other.
The two made headlines since the Champions League final on May 28 after Salah conceded a shoulder injury at the hands of Los Blancos defender Ramos.
Liverpool would go on to lose the final 4-1, in a defeat that was largely blamed on the 32-year old defender.
Players and managers have had their say after the champions league defeat, with Ramos being very vocal against allegations that he deliberately injured Salah, who has over time grown to be a crowd favorite at Anfield.
When the two finally reunited at the Champions League draw, Ramos was up to his usual tricks, or at least a section of fans thought so.
Ramos received the defender of the tournament at the draw, and while he was making way back to his seat, he gently tapped Salah’s shoulder who was conveniently sitting right in front of him.
The slight gesture sent social media on overdrive, with fans poking some fun at the two World Class footballers who have openly taken jibes at each other regarding the Champions League incident.
