- Spokesperson for President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 campaign organisation Festus Keyamo blasts some of the people calling for restructuring
- He argued that they did nothing when they were in power
Keyamo also threw shade at a particular aspirant who recently wept over the state of Nigeria
Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) says those clamoring for restructuring today in Nigeria never talked about it when they were in government.
The senior advocate who is also spokesperson for President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 campaign organisation disclosed this on his Twitter feed on Tuesday, September 4.
Without mentioning name, he also threw shade at a particular aspirant who recently wept over the state of Nigeria.
"The latest comedy film showing at cinemas is that of an actor shedding tears. It’s a poor remake a film clip of 2011, because that earlier clip was a real incident caught on camera by the audience, hence it became a spellbinder. But this latest clip just got the audience laughing.
"Some who pretend to be champions of restructuring today never mentioned an alphabet of that word when they were in office. Instead of restructuring Nigeria, they were rather struggling to restructure their Party in order to take control of it so as to become president of Nigeria," he tweeted.
NAIJ.com had reported that following Festus Keyamo's (SAN) acceptance to serve as spokesperson for the President Muhammadu Buhari's campaign organisation in the 2019 general elections, a businessman in Anambra state has verbally attacked the renowned lawyer.
The businessman, Bobby Uzochukwu, on Friday, April 20, verbally attacked Keyamo on the premises of the Anambra state federal high court, Awka, accusing him of being a betrayal for accepting the appointment.
