Veteran Nigerian entertainers are not ready to let the younger generations beat them to it as far as slaying on the red carpet is concerned. They are ready to go the extra mile in achieving a flawless look.
Most especially the women, they go as far as treating their skin, hitting the gym, getting the right dress that will flaunt their curves as well as paying so heavily for a makeup artist to pamper their faces.
Still on the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Nollywood stars in their 40s, 50s and 60s came prepared for the red carpet. In fact, you would not believe their age.
Popular Nigerian TV host, writer and lawyer Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, took to his Twitter handle to share pictures of the beautiful female entertainers who are in this category. They include Nollywood actress Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Iretiola Doyle, Mo Abudu, Veronica Odeka and Betty Irabor.
Ebuka shared the pictures with the caption: “Nigerian women redefining what it looks like to be in your 40s.”
