Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has reportedly assured the club's fans that he will not leave the Premier League side when the January 2019 transfer window opens.

Since last season, the Frenchman and his manager at Old Trafford Jose Mourinho have endured a fractious relationship and he has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

But according to the latest report by Mirror, the former Juventus star is ready to go for truce with Jose Mourinho and will not move to Barcelona next year.

Mourinho handed Pogba the captaincy in the absence of Antonio Valencia earlier in the season in an attempt to show his faith in him.

Paul Pogba's latest decision to stay at Manchester United next year is now expected to be a setback for Barcelona who are planning to sign him in January.
