Man heartbroken as he claims LUTH allegedly neglected his brother till he died in his arms

- A Facebook user identified as Yommy Sparktan has shared the heart-breaking circumstances surrounding the death of his brother

- According to Yommy, his late brother Segun died in LUTH after struggling to breath for hours

- He claimed that the cause of death was triggered by the negligence of the hospital

Reports reaching NAIJ.com state that a certain Segun has been snatched by the cold hands of death after battling for his life in a Nigerian hospital. The deceased's brother, identified as Yommy Sparktan shared the sad circumstances surrounding the untimely death of his sibling on social media.

According to Yommy, the deceased, Segun was in a critical condition and was rushed to Navy Town hospital, with no facilities to treat the sick, they were advised to take him to Lagos university Teaching hospital (LUTH).

Segun was then allegedly rushed to LUTH, where they arrived around 6.00pm. Unfortunately, for the sick who was said to be struggling for breath they were not attended to until 8.00pm, by which time he was weak.

Despite all their efforts to get the medically needed help, they were left with minimal aid until Segun eventually gave up the ghost.

Sparktan revealed that his family had to mourn the passing of their own on September 3 with painful knowledge that his death could have been avoided.

he blamed the hospital for their negligence and expressed heartbreak over the helpless state most general hospitals in Nigeria are in.
