Manchester City superstar Leroy Sane has announced the arrival of his daughter on social media.
The Germany international featured briefly for his national team in their UEFA Nations League opener against France on Thursday, September 6.
He was excluded from Joachim Low's World Cup squad where they crashed out of the competition at the group stage.
The City attacker however thanked the Germany squad and his national team coach Low for letting him leave to be at the birth.
While reacting to the arrival of his baby girl: "Incredibly happy to let you know about the birth of my daughter last night. Mother and child are doing fine.
"Special thank you to the [German team] and my coach Jogi Low for letting me leave to me at my daughter's birth. Of course I'll keep my fingers crossed for the team tomorrow!"
Meanwhile, Sane has named her daughter Rio Stella, his father Souleymane Sane revealed to Bild.
The City star had been recalled to the Germany squad after missing out on the World Cup but had to leave as his partner was due to give birth.
Sane won PFA Young Player of the Year last season after helping Pep Guardiola lift the Premier League trophy in May.
