AC Milan duo of Mattia Caldara and Alessio Romagnoli have emerged as a January transfer targets for Premier League campaigners Chelsea.
Chelsea have been superb this season in the Premier League winning all their four games so far this term under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
But according to the report by Calcio Marcato, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants to strengthen his central defensive options in January 2019.
And the two defenders the former Napoli boss wants at Stamford Bridge next year are Mattia Caldara, 24, and 23-year-old Alessio Romagnoli.
Chelsea are currently occupying second position on the Premier League standings with 12 points after four games played this term.
Alessio Romagnoli, 23, recently renewed his contract with Milan in June extending it until 2022 and Chelsea will now have to meet Milan's asking price to lure him to England next year.
