Pastor Adeboye threatens impersonators with lawsuit

- Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has cried out over some persons who use his name to defraud Nigerians

- Adeboye said that some impersonators who pose as real estate agents use his photograph and that of his wife to defraud unsuspecting buyers

- He declared that he will take legal action against such persons if they are caught

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has threatened to take legal action against some fraudulent real estate developers using his name and photograph and that of his wife to defraud unsuspecting buyers, Vanguard reports.

Revealing a colour handbill bearing his photographs and that of his wife during the September Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Adeboye warned Nigerians to beware of fraudsters, declaring that neither he nor his wife, sell houses.

Those who attended the special service dedicated to women looking for the fruit of the womb, with the theme, Stronger Than Your Enemies 8 (Silencing mockers), included the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife as well as Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, March 1, congratulated Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye on his 76th birthday.

Buhari in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, prayed that the almighty God will grant the general overseer longer life, good health and more strength.
