Young Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot is set for his Manchester United senior debut this weekend away to Watford.

United will be travelling to Vicarage Road to take on the unbeaten Watford in a Premier League match this weekend.

Ashley Young is set to fill in the void for Luke Shaw on left-back after the England defender suffered a concussion and Antonio Valencia will continue at right-back.

It is not only Shaw that will be missing out from the Red Devils squad, Marcus Rashford is also out suspended after he was sent off against Burnley.

Dalot, who was a £17.5million summer inclusion from Porto has fully recovered from a knee problem and played for United U-23's last month.

He was watched by Mourinho, Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna in their match against Stoke U-23 before he was substituted in the second half.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Manchester United have signed 19-year-old defender Diogo Dalot from Porto in a five-year deal worth £19 million on Wednesday, June 6.

Described by Jose Mourinho as "the best young full back in Europe" the 19-year-old has been on the Red Devils radar for a while since making his debut for Porto in October 2017.
