- Juventus are reportedly planning to sign Paul Pogba and Marcelo together
- The Manchester United and Real Madrid stars have been linked to the Italian club
- The Biaconeri are yet to win the Champions League title for the past 12 years
Italian champions are reportedly getting ready to make a double swoop for Paul Pogba and Marcelo, The Sun quoting TuttoSport reports.
The Biaconeri made the biggest summer signing when Cristiano Ronaldo join them from Real Madrid in a £99million swoop.
According to Italian media outfit TuttoSport, the Old Lady are plotting a huge swoop to land the Manchester United and Real Madrid superstars respectively.
Pogba has been rumoured to make a return to Turin giants having spent four years with the club prior to his club-record switch to Old Trafford in 2016.
The 25-year-old's much-publicised relationship breakdown with Jose Mourinho has also aroused Barcelona’s interest in the creative midfielder.
However, TuttoSport claims Juventus have the financial backing and believe they could land the French World Cup winner.
They are also interested in signing Ronaldo’s old Bernabeu team-mate Marcelo but the 30-year-old left-back has recently revealed he is happy at Madrid.
The Brazilian left-back has spent for 11 years in Madrid and still has plenty to offer the European champions.
Both players undoubtedly would hugely boost Juventus’ hopes and ambition of winning the Champions League for the first time in 12 years.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Juventus have reportedly placed Cristiano Ronaldo on a special training work in a bid to help him re-find his goal scoring form.
The Portuguese superstar joined the Italian giants in the summer for £99million from Real Madrid, but is yet to open his account in the Serie A.
