Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the immediate past national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is reportedly set to officially declare interest in the 2019 governorship race in Kwara state.
This was disclosed in a tweet by @omoluabli4Kwara on Wednesday, September 12.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that Governor Abudulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s nomination form for Kwara south senatorial district.
The governor in a tweet on Saturday, September 8, said his decision to contest for the senate was in response to calls from his people and his desire to contribute to the work done in all three zones of the state, through purposeful representation.
"In response to calls by my people and in keeping with my strong desire to upscale the excellent work we have done in all three zones of the state, through effective, purposeful representation, I have picked up the PDP nomination form for Kwara South Senatorial," he said.
