- Aaron Ramsey could be on his way to join AC Milan
- The 27-year-old has less than a year in his Arsenal deal
- Milan are looking to cash-in for the Welshman in January
Arsenal's attacking midfielder Aaron Ramsey is being lined up for a move to to join Serie A giants AC Milan in January.
The Wales international will be out of contract at the Emirates next summer, and is yet to sign a new deal under Unai Emery.
There are widespread reports in Italy that the San Siro outfit are planning to swoop for the former Cardiff City man.
The Welshman has won three FA Cups during his time in north London making a staggering 333 appearances and scoring 58 goals for the Gunners.
It is understood Ramsey is being tempted by the challenge of playing for one of the most successful clubs in Europe.
Now Milan are set to test Arsenal's resolve to keep hold of their midfielder by submitting a bid next January rather than waiting until his contract next summer.
The 27-year-old has spent ten years with the Gunners and Milan are hopeful of recruiting Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis as they reshape their administrative structure.
The Italian club made an approach for Gazidis but the 53-year-old is yet to make a final decision.
According to Italian print media outfit Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal is close and it is understood Milan have given Gazidis a blank cheque.
Popularly known to be the "magician of accounts" with the Gunners, the Italians believe Gazidis' presence at the San Siro will boost their hopes of landing Ramsey.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Chelsea who are lining up £35 million bid to lure the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
The Welsh professional footballer has one more year left on his current contract at the Emirates stadium, and the Gunners could lose him for free in the next transfer window.
