The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on the general public to be mindful of dealing with one Alfa Ephraim politically.
The national chairman of the party, Ralhps Nwosu, in a statement issued to journalist in Abuja, said Ephraim was at no time elected chairman of ADC.
Nwosu said his statement on Ephraim is sequel to an interlocutory injunction granted by a high court in Adamawa restraining the party ADC and its agents from conducting their primary elections scheduled to hold by the end of September.
He said: "Ephraim was at no time elected as state chairman of the party in Adamawa and advised all members and the general public to desist from recognizing him for political activities."
"Ephraim had gone to court seeking for an exparte motion restraining the 2th and 9th defendant from parading themselves as members of the state EXCO in Adamawa praying for the court to stop ADC primary elections but ADC said he should be avoided."
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Senator Abdul-Azeez Nyako; and former governors of Osun and Oyo states, Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Rashidi Ladoja, would lead the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Osun state campaign committee.
It was gathered that the party also expressed confidence in its candidate, Fatai Akinbade, and his running mate, Justice Folahanmi Oloyede, to emerge victorious in the September 22 governorship election in Osun state.
