Just like comedians falling into depression and eventually taking their lives, one can never really grasp how absolutely gorgeous women suffer from low self-esteem. Taking the spotlight on this is Nollywood actress, Rosaline Meurer.
She recently took to the social media platform to share some really deep details about her struggle with self-acceptance that has left so many people stunned. The Gambian-born actress revealed how she would go on Instagram and compare herself with often photoshopped and unreal pictures of people, most times wishing to be like them.
She further stated that everything changed when God gave her the opportunity to witness the behnd-the-scene of a celebrity’s life, something that changed her life for the better. Still in the detailed write up on Instagram, she advised others to be more appreciative of their lives and learn to love their bodies.
See her post below:
Although many people expressed gratitude to the actress for sharing her past struggles, others still remained shocked as how the light-skinned actress who is more or less a poster child for beauty queens, would at any point in her life hate her body or want to be someone else.
Well, this is yet another story that goes to prove that everybody has demons that they are either fighting or may have fought in the past. It is indeed a good thing she shared hers and more especially, how she overcame it.
