FRSC commences screening and physical assessment phase in recruitment exercise

- The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has commenced the screening and physical assessment phase of its 2018 recruitment exercise

- The recruitment exercise had commenced on May 28 with the uploading of the application forms on FRSC recruitment portal

- This next phase is to be conducted in all state capitals from Monday, September 24 to Saturday, September 29

The FRSC has announced the commencement of the screening and physical assessment phase of its 2018 recruitment exercise.

The recruitment exercise had commenced on Monday, May 28 with the uploading of the application forms by applicants FRSC recruitment portal

In a statement sent to journalists by Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC, he stated that applicants are advised to check their emails used for the submission of the applications on Wednesday, September 19 for information on the screening and physical fitness assessment.

Part of the statement read: “The email information shall contain the venue, date, time of screening and required items to be taken along for the exercise.

“Shortlisted applicants are to come with the summary data page earlier received and email notification slip which shall admit them to the screening venue.

“Any candidate without the print out of the summary data page and notification slip for this phase of the exercise shall not be admitted into the screening venue.”

The statement further urged all applicants to be mindful that “FRSC would never ask anyone to pay for the ongoing recruitment exercise in whatever guise.”

Two months ago, Boboye Oyeyemi, Corps Marshal, FRSC, announced that the corps will recruit additional 4,650 officers and procure new logistics vehicles to improve road safety management in the country.

According to him, the corps will employ the best in road safety management in the second part of the year.

“In the next few months we should be able to procure all these items and we are also injecting additional personnel of about 4,650 to the system,” he said.
