Premier League giants Chelsea are now said to be ready to tie Brazilian star David Luiz down with a new contract after impressing this season for the Stamford Bridge club.
The current contract of the 31-year-old ex PSG star will expire next summer, and Chelsea want him to commit his future to the club by signing a new deal.
According to the report by UK Sun, David Luiz is expected to get at least two more years at Stamford Bridge with a fresh £125,000-a-week.
Last season, David Luiz had a rift with former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte in which he did not play from February till the end of the term.
But this term, he has established himself in Maurizio Sarri's first team appearing all all the Blues' five games played this season.
