- Mourinho believes David De Gea is the best goalkeeper who plays for a big club
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea is the best goalie in the world following his impressive performance against Watford on Saturday.
David De Gea superbly denied Christian Kabasele's late minute header as Manchester United recorded vital away win which reduced the pressure for Jose Mourinho.
The former Chelsea boss admitted that David De Gea plays for a big team, and such performance is expected from the 27-year-old.
"When you are goalkeeper of a big team, even if you don’t touch the ball for the whole game you have to be decisive.
"A draw would have been a good result for us and we had one chance at the end. But De Gea was amazing and he is the best,'' Mourinho explained according to UK Sun.
Manchester United's win over Watford on Saturday has sent the Red Devils to eighth position on the Premier League standings with 9 points after five games played.
