Rapper narrowly escapes being killed by SARS operatives

It is no longer news that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has become more of a menace in the Nigerian society.

Several people have shared the experiences they have had with SARS officials, and sadly, most of them are negative.

The latest of their victims is a Nigerian rapper, Zoro. According to him, he narrowly escaped being killed by SARS officials in Rivers state.

The obviously embittered rapper took to his Twitter page to share his experience.

He explained his anger at the fact that even though he wasn’t guilty of anything, he was still harassed and even almost lost his life in the process.

Zoro revealed that he had the worst day of his life when SARS operatives kept on shooting at him even though he had obeyed their orders.

From his post, it is obvious that the rapper was shocked by the experience.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that the presidency through the Vice President had ordered the immediate restructuring of SARS, but since the news broke, not much seems to have been done about it.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered an immediate restructuring of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), in order to check the series of atrocities allegedly committed by the unit.

He made the disclosure while responding to questions from young Nigerians at a town hall meeting to mark the launch of the National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), clinics in Ibadan, Oyo state.
