- Lille's winger Nicoals Pepe is now a transfer target for Man United and Arsenal
- The 23-year-old has been outstanding for his club in the new Ligue 1 season
- Pepe has helped his team to second place scoring fours goal in six matches
Two Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
The Frenchman has been in superb form in the new Ligue 1 season scoring four goals and creating three assists.
According to French media outfit France Football, United and the Gunners are already making inquiries for the 23-year-old for a potential January move.
Jose Mourinho is currently in need of a right-winger as Spanish star Juan Mata's pace is something to worry about while Alexis Sanchez's have also been off form since joining from Arsenal.
On the other hand, Unai emery wants a long-term plan for a player that fits into his right-wing with veteran midfielder Mesut Ozil being used on the flanks.
And a mouth-watering offer for Pepe may be difficult to turn down by Lille who struggled with relegation last season and are just five points behind league leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
It is understood that Lille president refused €30m offer in the summer for the emerging talent but a bigger offer could tempt the club to sell the youngster.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Manchester United and Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly has reportedly emerged as a January 2019 transfer target for Arsenal and Tottenham.
The 24-year-old player has lost his place in Jose Mourinho's first team since Manchester United's defeat against Brighton.
