Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly submitted an €85 million bid for 21-year-old Ajax star Frenkie De Jong who is also wanted by Barcelona, Manchester United, and Tottenham.
Ali Dursun who is the agent of the Holland international is said to have been in contact with Barcelona over the possibility of his client joining the La Liga champions.
According to the report by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona intermediaries are aware that Real Madrid have launched a bid for De Jong and they are also ready to challenge their rivals.
Frenkie De Jong joined Ajax in 2015 on a four-year contract deal and helped the club to reach the final of the 2017 Europa League championship losing against Manchester United.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how French League champions Paris Saint Germain were said to be interested in signing Ajax Amsterdam's star Frenkie de Jong.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to join Spanish champions Barcelona and Manchester United.
