A youth corps member undertaking the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Usang Benedict Williams in Ebonyi state has been reported dead.
The graduate of accounting from the Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH), Ogoja, reportedly died in his sleep on Saturday, September 29.
He died just seven days after his 25th birthday and exactly 10 days after a friend and his younger brother dreamt that he died. They reportedly asked him to pray. And he also made a declaration of faith that he will not die young but live to see his children’s children.
Williams was deeply involved in politics in his lifetime. He was a grassroots mobiliser for the All Progressive Congress in Cross River state.
