Following his disqualification from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary process, minister of communication, Adebayo Shittu, has fired at Governor Ajimobi of Oyo state, adding that the governor was behind his ordeal.
Leadership earlier reports that Barrister Shittu, who was disqualified upon claims that he failed to participate in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), made this remark why answering questions on Channels TV's Sunday Politics.
NAIJ.com gathers that the former minister accused Governor Ajimobi of masterminding how his dream to be governor of Oyo state faded into twilight a few days to the APC primaries.
The overtly enraged minister also accused Ajimobi of not participating in the one-year NYSC service.
He added that the governor deliberately stood against his dream because he knew that if elected, he (Shittu) would jail him.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Adebayo Adelabu, a former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), emerged as the Oyo state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate following a primary held on Sunday, September 30, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
Adelabu emerged after Joseph Tegbe, Adeniyi Akintola, and other aspirants willingly stepped down from the race.
The governorship candidate is the grandson of the Ibadan notable politician, Adegoke Adelabu, popularly known as Penkelemesi (peculiar mess).
