Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke of his happiness at his side's convincing 4-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The Ligue 1 runners-up emerged from a sloppy start to stay in contention for qualification from Group A, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned in a performance of the highest quality with four assists.
The 53-year-old was buoyed by his side's response after their shock league defeat on Saturday against Saint-Etienne, and insisted that it was merely an "accident."
"It was a very good game. The reaction tonight showed that the match against Saint-Etienne was an accident." the Italian trainer said in the post-match press conference.
Alex opened the scoring after 16 minutes, before Blaise Matuidi, Jeremy Menez and substitute Guillaume Hoarau all found the net to keep up the pressure on Porto at the top of the group.
Meanwhile, Matuidi praised his team-mates for the improvement made in the second-half.
"At half-time the coach had put things in place, and we went ahead with intensity. Tonight, we saw a beautiful Paris [team] in the second half. We're now in a position to go through. That was the aim."
PSG sit second in Group A , a point behind leaders Porto. They face champions Montpellier on Sunday evening as Ligue 1 action resumes.
