Rep Donates Hospital In Adamawa

A member of the House of Representatives, Hajiya Aishatu Ahmed Binani, Yola North/ Yola South/ Girei Constituency in Adamawa State, has built a N18.6m hospital for her constituency.

Binani, in a statement on Monday, said the hospital was part of her campaign promises to the electorate.

The 17-bed-hospital in Lulu village Girei Local Government, was inaugurated by the wife of the state Governor, Halima Murtala-Nyako.

The lawmaker said, “It was during our campaign tour that women of this community passionately pleaded that all they needed from me was to get them a clinic. They cried out that their children in particular had nowhere nearby to get any needed medical attention.

“Indeed they lamented that as a result of the bad road and distance, several pregnant women had miscarriages when being rushed to the nearest clinic which is about 30 kilometers away”, she stated.
