FG Urged To Sustain Yar’adua’s Legacy

The Federal Government has been urged to sustain the legacies of late President Umaru Yar’adua on public procurement law to improve execution of government projects and combat corruption in the country.

The North-Central zonal coordinator of Public Procurement Stakeholders and Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), Auwal Musa Rafsanjani, gave the advice in Minna while speaking at the fourth phase (2012) national sensitisation of the zone organised by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

Director General of the BPP, Engr. Emeka Ezeh, represented by the Director of Research, Training and Strategic Planning, Anthony Ikor, said the BPP has been working to ensure the improvement of the recorded success of the law to meet international standard.
