Quit Insulting Our Leader - MASSOB To Danjuma
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has warned the former Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, to desist from making derogatory statements about the late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu.
According to The Trent, the warning comes on the heels of a statement by General Danjuma that Ojukwu could have averted the bloodbath in the Biafran war if he had given up following the fall of Enugu.

The leader of MASSOB, Ralph Uwazuruike, said the group would not fold its arm while the name of its founder was vilified in the name of politics, adding that the Biafran bloodshed would have been averted if people like General Danjuma had not advised then Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon to shun the Aburi Accord.
Speaking through Emmanuel Omenka, his Personal Assistant and the Nnewi North Regional Administrator of MASSOB, Uwazuruike said: “He has been insulting Ojukwu. What is the concern of Ojukwu in the conceding of defeat to General Mohammadu Buhari by President Goodluck Jonathan?
“If Danjuma and his cohorts did not support Gowon, the war would have been averted,” Omenka asked rhetorically.
The Ex-Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo recently had a private meeting with Uwazurike at Buguma Toru LGA of Rivers State. However, the purpose of their meeting was not disclosed.
