Rio 2016: British High Commissioner sends his best wishes to Team Nigeria

- The United Kingdom (UK) high commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, wishes Team Nigeria all the best at the Olympics

British High commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Paul Arkwright, has wished all the Nigerian teams at the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympics all the best in their outing.

In a chat with Legit.ng in Abuja on August 5, the UK Ambassador to Nigeria said, "I am looking forward to seeing Nigeria do well.

He added that he watched the Nigerian match against Japan, a match which was played in the wee hours of the morning and ended 5 - 4 in favour of Nigeria.

"I watched the match this morning, that was a great start, and, I look forward to seeing them get as many medals as much as they can, I would love to see lots of Nigerian athletes at the finals, I would love Nigerians to do well.

"I am a big sports fan, the Olympics comes around four years, so I am going to be closely watching the Olympics and I hope they do well.

He concluded by sending his best wishes to all the Athletes who are already in Brazil for the Olympics, "I wish them all the very best of luck."
