- The bills are the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy (Establishment) Bill, the Air Force Institute of Technology of Nigeria (Establishment) Bill, and the National Intelligence Agency Pensions (Establishment) Bill
- The president signed the bills on Tuesday, December 5; but the development was made public today, Wednesday, December 6
Three bills which were earlier passed by the National Assembly, have been signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, Punch reports.
The development was made public in a statement released to newsmen by the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday, December 6.

NAIJ.com notes that the bills were actually signed by the president on Tuesday, December 5.
Adesina disclosed that the first bill was the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy (Establishment) Bill, 2017.
He stated: “The College to be sited in Enugu is to provide courses of instruction leading to the award of degrees, diplomas and certificates in dental technology, dental therapy and related courses.”
The second bill is the Air Force Institute of Technology of Nigeria (Establishment) Bill, 2017.
The presidential aide disclosed that the institute would provide technical training for personnel of the Nigerian Air Force and other branches of the Nigerian Armed Forces, and would be situated in Kaduna.
The third bill signed is the National Intelligence Agency Pensions (Establishment) Bill, 2017.
According to Adesina, it would administer the pensions scheme for personnel of the agency.

In a related development, NAIJ.com previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari signed instruments of ratification for a number of bilateral agreements strengthening the government’s anti-corruption fight.
The ratification was in line with the delivery of President Buhari’s anti-corruption economic diversification vision.
The agreements signed by the president covered anti-corruption, tax administration and intellectual property protection.
